LOCATION

At the eastern edge of Jurong Lake

Lucerne Grand faces the water on one side and a national garden on the other, while sitting inside the catchment of Singapore's most ambitious urban transformation outside the city centre.

JURONG LAKE DISTRICT

Singapore's second CBD, still being built

The URA masterplan sets out Jurong Lake District as the largest mixed-use business district outside the central area — offices, institutions, retail and housing arranged around the lake rather than a road grid.

Jurong Gateway is the commercial core, anchored today by JEM, Westgate and Jurong Town Hall. Lakeside East, the 120-hectare precinct across the water, is planned as a car-lite mix of offices, homes and amenities to be built out over the next thirty years. Lakeside West, closer to Lucerne Grand, is set aside for leisure, recreation and events around the lake edge.

The Cross Island Line's Jurong Lake District station is targeted for 2032, and a new Science Centre is under construction one stop away at Chinese Garden.

JURONG LAKE GARDENS

Ninety hectares, on foot

Singapore's third national garden wraps the lake in three parts — Lakeside Garden, Chinese Garden and Japanese Garden. The nearest entry point sits directly across Yuan Ching Road from the site.

It is the kind of amenity that does not get built twice. Boardwalks, wetlands, a forest ramble and the Rasau Walk are a few minutes from the lift lobby, which is a different proposition from a park you have to drive to.

Come and see where it sits

The showflat is on Yuan Ching Road, beside the site itself — so you can walk the actual ground before you decide.
